Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan combine caramel and pecans.
  2. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until boiling.
  3. Boil 3-5 min or until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and cool 5 minute.
  5. Spoon approx 1 1/2 teaspoon caramel nut mixture on top of each cracker.
  6. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.
  7. Melt chocolate and shortening in microwave.
  8. Dip bottom of each cracker into chocolate.
  9. Transfer to waxed paper and refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.
  10. Store in refrigerator.
