Triscuit Nachos

"My sister-in-law makes these and we think they are delicious. The crackers stay nice and crisp. I imagine that they are lower in fat and healthier than using nachos chips, so we'll see how Zaar nutrition facts scores this. I have guessed at the quantity amounts as you can put on as little or as much as you like."

 2. Who needs soggy nacho chips! After trying this recipe, I'll never buy them again. This is the only way to go. Now why couldn't I thought of this? Brilliant. We had company in this evening, but didn't assemble them until they walked in the door. A couple of minutes in the toaster oven and I was serving before they even sat down. How great is that. Everyone raved about how wonderful they were, and so easy. The 1/4 tsp of salsa is *perfect*. Mums, your the best!!! Honoured to make this as a "Thank You" for voting for Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia in the 2010 Kraft Hockeyville Competition.

 3. These were really great! They had a nice crispy bite to them and were a nice change from cheese and nacho chips. When making them, I used up some produce in the fridge -- I sprinkled a little chopped green onions, finger peppers and scotch bonnet peppers on different crackers and they tasted good that way as well for those who like hot and spicy food. I'll be making these again, especially for football games, since they are so easy & quick to make. Thanks for sharing!

 4. Made for PAC Fall 08. I have a lil Nacho grande fiend living in my house so being able to give him a healthy choice was wonderful. Easy super quick snack!

I have two teenage children and am very happily married. We live in Southern, Ontario.

I live to cook and just love to putter around the kitchen. I enjoy reading all kinds of cookbooks which I borrow from the library or buy second hand. I really like Taste of Home magazine, because the recipes are from ordinary people and aren't too complicated. I also like to read community or church cookbooks because you know that the recipe must be special for someone to share it.

I discovered RecipeZaar because it was mentioned by someone in a cooking magazine...now I am hooked. I think it is so helpful to read the reviews and suggestions from others who have tried recipes before me.

I always thought of myself as a pretty good cook, but I am learning so much since I have joined RecipeZaar. I really appreciate the ideas and feed back that everyone provides.
114172283"
