  1. My guys loved these and they were really simple to make. I made the dough the night before, rolled it out in the morning and the rose beautifully and tasted wonderful. A very light and tender biscuit.

  2. I did the same as Grandma in TX, i cut out the yeast and added extra salt. They turned out wonderfully, and they are great as ham or ham and cheese biscuits.

  3. When I first made these biscuits, I would have given them 2 stars...I have never seen a biscuit recipe that included yeast along with baking powder and baking soda. I did not like the taste and they didnt look very good. So I made a second batch, and took out the yeast and added another teaspoon of salt. OMG, these were fantastic. Great taste and they rose up beautifuly. This will be the biscuits I make from now on. Thanks Curt.

  5. This is a "keeper" recipe. My whole family loves these biscuits, and they are easier to make than yeast rolls--quicker, too! Thanks Curt!
