ingredients
- 1 ounce French Parfait Amour liqueur
- 1 ounce Galliano
- 3 ounces pink grapefruit juice
- 1 tablespoon honey (or Bartender's Sugar Syrup)
- 2 maraschino cherries
directions
- Shake the liquids together in a shaker filled with ice.
- Serve in a Collins glass. Garnish with 2 cherries.

This was quite pleasant. The Parfait Amour was new to me, so I really enjoyed sampling it because it has such an intereseting, complex flavor that is quite difficult to describe. But the hint of vanilla in it blended very nicely with the Galiano. The only thing I didn't care for was the honey, as it made the drink just a little too sweet for my taste buds, and the honey just stuck to the ice cubes and didn't blend into the drink very well. It just clung to the ice cubes in a clump. And I am not sure if I did something wrong, because my cocktails came out in sort of a watered-down cranberry color, and all the photos I saw on the internet for this cocktail showed a cocktail in a delicate pink color. Nonetheless, t was a worth hunting down the bottle of Parfait Amour! Thanks for sharing your recipe, 2Bleu.
