Tuna Casserole

- 2 lbs elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
- 3 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
- 3 (5 ounce) cans albacore tuna, drained
- 12 slices American cheese
- to taste salt and pepper
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 deg.F.
- Follow directions for cooking macaroni. Drain it and dump it into your favorite mixing bowl.
- While it's still steaming hot, mix in all the soup and tuna, as well as your desired measure of salt and pepper.
- Scoop this into your favorite casserole dish(es).
- Smooth the top, and cover it with slices of cheese.
- Bake this for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is as browned as you desire. I like my cheese just melted, and still bright yellow.

I use cream of celery soup. or I also go on to the online site that tells how to make the "Cream of " soups yourself... Saving even more money, I feed 8 adults a day, No it's not a group home, it's that ever since the Olection last year, We have all lost homes, jobs etc. so the Kids * grown) and grandbaby are here. These males who are picking up jobs as they can come home hungry and one "serving" of food just ins't going to filll up hungry men. I usually serve can peas with this as well. Oh, I add lemon to the mix. either the dry lemon powders our there or some lemon juice. Someting about lemon and fish, sets it right off !
