  • In a small saute pan lightly toast the almonds in a small amount of butter or olive oil on the stove top. Remove from pan and saute the onions and celery until translucent.
  • Combine the onions, celery and almonds to the tuna fish. Add cilantro, mayo, salt and pepper.
  • Butter one side of a slice of bread of your choice, butter the second slice and place butter side down on the first buttered slice. Top with some of the tuna mixture and add the three slices of cheese. Brown on both sides in a medium heated saute pan.
