ingredients
- 4 quarts cucumbers (sliced)
- 4 onions (sliced)
- 2 green peppers (sliced)
- 1⁄3 cup pickling salt
- 5 cups sugar
- 3 cups vinegar
- 2 tablespoons mustard seeds
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons turmeric
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons celery seeds
directions
- Run cucmbers, onions & green peppers through the food processor with the slicing blade in place.
- Combine all 3 ingredients with salt into large pan and mix thoroughly.
- Cover with ice and let stand 3 hours.
- Drain well.
- Combine last 5 ingredients and pour over drained cucumber mixture.
- Bring to boil on stove top.
- Pour into sterilized jars and process in water bath for 10 minutes.
