  1. When making this I used breadcrumbs from a whole grain bread, & also added 1/4 teaspoon of lemon pepper, but other than that, your recipe was followed! When served, I did top it with just a small amount of mild salsa, & we were very satisfied with these hash browns ! 2. This was okay, but like others we felt it was missing something. DH said it needs gravy...mine came out a little dry but probably because I used ground turkey breast so there was probably no fat. I also turned on the broiler after it cooked and before I added the cheese so it could crisp up the hashbrowns. It was good with BBQ sauce. Made for 1-2-3-Hits.

  3. My family liked this, but didn't love it. My 7-year old did what I suppose my folks would have done too if they weren't trying to eat it the way it was put together...he put the potatoes on the side and used ketchup on the meat. Thanks for the recipe. With a few adjustments, I figure it would work out nicely. Possibly adding a creamy layer under the potatoes?

  4. This was a great go-to recipe for me to know I could make for a quick supper after working all day. I omitted the carrots per preference but other than that followed exactly as printed. DS did say it was a touch dry, but that could have been my turkey. I used a pint of canned turkey and I"m not sure how that equates to 1 1/2 lbs of ground turkey. It had excellent taste and next time I"ll up the eggs to two. Thanks loof for a great keeper recipe for busy week-nights. Made for Photo-tag~

  5. This was super easy to put together. Instead of the seasoned bread crumbs I made crumbs out of some tasty crackers (that had seeds on them). I made this and stuck it in the fridge early in the day, and then put it in the oven when I needed to. Good, basic comfort food for a weeknight and something I'd make again. You cannot tell that there are carrots in here, so that was nice too. Thanks.
