  • 1. Heat the olive oil in a heavy stew pot. Add the onions and saute them. When they soften and begin to turn brown, add carrot, red & green pepper. Add chicken broth as needed to keep vegetables from sticking.
  • 2. In a separate skillet, brown the ground turkey. When it is cooked through, add it to the vegetables in the stew pot.
  • 3. Add beef & chicken broth, the jalapeno, and the spices.
  • 4. Simmer on low for several hours, until liquid reduces and flavors develop.
