- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chopped cabbage
- 2 medium carrots, sliced
- 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
directions
- In a large saucepan, cook turkey, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, drain.
- Add the remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 6-8 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
