ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 medium onion, Chopped
- 3 ounces butter
- 1 garlic clove, Finely Chopped
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 ounces egg noodles
directions
- Caramelize onion in butter.
- Boil water. When a rolling boil, cook noodles al dente and set aside.
- Add and Cook beef with garlic in skillet over medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally, until meat is brown (cooked), drain.
- Stir in soup and salt. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes.
- Stir in sour cream; cook until hot. Serve over noodles.

This was a solid 4 stars. Not gourmet but comfort food like I remember as a kid. The kids had a snow day from school so I whipped this up for an easy cheap supper. I did add about 1/2 cup chopped fresh mushrooms and about 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce. Oh and I used low fat sour cream-served over noodles. Everyone was happy.

I would give this recipe 10 stars if I could - It was so easy to make and even easier to devour. The only thing I would change next time is add some fresh mushrooms. I added a little Worcestershire Sauce, personal preference, but otherwise followed the recipe as printed. Thanks for sharing. Made and enjoyed for PAC, Spring 2009
