  1. Cook potatoes & turnips in boiling salted water until tender. Drain.
  2. Rice & mash adding salt, pepper, & butter.
  3. Spoon mixture into 1 quart buttered casserole & top with grated cheese.
  4. Bake in 300 F oven until cheese has melted.
