  • Mix brown sugar, margarine, water and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt
  • until dough holds together.
  • If dough is dry, stir in 1-2 teaspoons of
  • water.
  • Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • For each cookie, group 3-5 pecan halves
  • on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Shape dough by teaspoonfuls around caramel
  • pieces.
  • Dip botton of mound of dough into beaten egg white, so pecans will stick to cookie. Press dough firmly onto center of each group of nuts.
  • Bake until set but not brown, for 12-15 minutes.
  • Cool.
  • Dip tops of
  • cookies into chocolate glaze.
  • Chocolate Glaze:

  • Last 4 ingredients above.
  • Beat ingredients until smooth.
  • If necessary, stir in water, 1 teaspoons at a time until frosting is desired consistency.
