  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons onion salt
  • 2 tablespoons roteserrie chicken seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons cajun spices
  • 2 eggs
  • 14 cup water
  • 2 lbs turtle, cut into bite sized pieces
  • peanut oil (for frying)

Directions

  1. mix togeher first five ingriedents in a ziploc bag.
  2. mix together egg and water.
  3. Dip turtle in egg mixture then in flour ixture until coated.
  4. fry in oil about 5-7 minutes or until turtle floats to the top.
  5. drain on paper towels.
