  1. Cut Twinkies in half lengthwise; arrange half of them cut side up in an 8x8 baking dish.
  2. Combine pudding mix and milk and stir according to the package instructions. Fold in the whipped topping and nuts (if using). Arrange remaining Twinkies cut side down over the pudding.
  3. Remove the lid and foil seal from the frosting container and microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir well, then drizzle over the Twinkies. Refrigerate for 1 hour, or until firm.
