Two Cheese Fettuccini

- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 1⁄2 cups milk
- 6 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 ounces shredded swiss cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
directions
- Cook fettuccini according to pkg instructions.
- Meanwhile, over low heat, melt butter.
- Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
- Slowly stir in milk; bring to a boil.
- Cook and stir for 2 minutes, or until thickened.
- Remove from heat.
- Toss cheeses with lemon juice; add to milk, stir until melted.
- Mix with drained fettuccini.

Made this pretty much as written for a side dish, & A VERY NICE TASTING one, at that! Did, however, use lemon pepper instead of the usual S&P! After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!!
I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch.
We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
