Uncle Bob's Peanut Butter Sandwich With Texas Sweets
"This is out of a cookbook called "Patio Daddy-O" 50's recipes with a 90's twist...it sure sounds weird, but the combination creates something like an Indonesian satay sandwich. Any sweet onion will work...I know some guy will give this a try...preparation time includes cleaning time...;)"

- 3 tablespoons chunky peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 slice sweet onion, ultra-thin
- 1 lettuce leaf
- 2 slices firm white bread
directions
- Spread one slice of bread with peanut butter, the other slice with mayonnaise, and sandwich with the lettuce and onion.
- Cut in half to serve.

I had to try this because I just couldn't quite imagine how it would taste. The peanut butter was prominent, with a bite of onion. It was interesting and different. May not make it again, but had to try it. Thanks! I don't know how to rate the recipe so won't leave stars.
