Unique Turkey Burgers

“I know, I know, they sound weird but trust me on this when I tell you they are really tasty! These burgers are a bit different and a lot healthier for you than most. Try them before you say "eeewwww." Prep time includes the time needed to build the burgers after they are cooked.”

Directions

  1. Mix all of the burger ingredients together and form 6 patties; set aside.
  2. Mix all of the glaze ingredients together.
  3. Place burgers on hot grill.
  4. Cook for 5 minutes on each side, brushing with the glaze every few minutes.
  5. Remove burgers from the grill.
  6. Smear a bit of cranberry sauce on each of the 6 buns.
  7. Top bun with a burger.
  8. Top burger with alfalfa sprouts.
  9. Top sprouts with a sprinkling of sunflower seeds.
  10. Put top bun on bottom bun and eat.
