Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (24 ounce) bag Simply Potatoes Traditional Mashed Potatoes (Family Size)
  • 1 large sweet onion
  • 1 (9 ounce) box lasagna noodles
  • 14 American cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup butter

Directions

  1. Cook lasagna noodles al dente.
  2. Dice onion.
  3. In a frying pan, melt both sticks of butter and add onion.
  4. Sauté until onion caramelizes and butter lightly browns.
  5. In a standard Lasagna tin place your first layer of noodles.
  6. Spread a 1/4" layer of mashed potatoes atop the noodles.
  7. Add another layer of noodles atop the mashed potatoes.
  8. Layer slices of cheese on the 2nd layer of noodles.
  9. Spread another layer of mashed potatoes.
  10. Place your last layer of noodles neatly on top.
  11. Pour your butter & onion mixture on top.
  12. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes until warmed through.
  13. Allow to cool and then cut into 2"x3" rectangles.
