  • 3 ounces chocolate
  • 1 free range egg yolk
  • 12 ounce butter
  • 1 teaspoon rum
  • 1 teaspoon single cream

  • Melt the chocolate in a bowl.
  • Beat in the egg yolk, butter, rum and cream.
  • Chill in the fridge until firm.
  • Shape into balls and press flat with palm of hand.
  • Use a heart-shaped cutter to create correct shape, placing left over edges back into main mixture.
