  • In a large crock pot mix together seasoning and water.
  • Add mushroom soup and blend together.
  • Add everything except for the cheese and the sour cream. Stir it together.
  • Add cheese and sour cream. Stir well.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

  1. This saved my butt the other night! I did make a few changes: I couldn't get the seasoning packet, so I dumped in some seasoned salt, cumin, ancho chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, black pepper. I think that was all. I poached the chicken. I used chicken broth instead of water. I cooked 2c navy beans (no cannellini, for shame!) and 1/2c black beans separately ahead of time since I stock dry beans not canned beans. I used crea f chicken instead of mushroom. I couldn't bring myself to add the cheese & sour cream and then cook, so I used these as garnishes. The sour cream doesn't curdle in the crock pot? A fabulous dish that really hots the spot. Made for PAC 4/09. Thank you!
