  1. It has literally been ages since I had a root beer float, but this GREAT TASTING DRINK certainly does bring back memories! A nice new (for me, anyway) twist with the chocolate chip ice cream! VERY, VERY NICE! [Tagged, made & reviewed in Gimme 5 tag]

  2. This is so good! Not sure I will make a root beer float with plain vanilla again! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Made for Jan., 2008 Beverage Tag. Very good root bear float. I have never tried it with chocolate chip ice cream before. I used diet A & W root beer and it was still great. Thanks for a great recipe, Lainey.

  4. Different but nice. No whipped cream for me, I've been indulging in ice cream this week and that's calories enough for me. Bade for Beverage Tag. TFS

  5. Well, how can this be anything but delicious? Adding the chocolate chip ice cream instead of straight vanilla gave this a nice little extra kick. Most of the chips settled to the bottom - but who cares, still yummy.
