Directions

  1. Place thawed, heated vegetables in casserole dish.
  2. In saucepan, melt butter. Add flour, salt and pepper; cook and stir until it forms a paste.
  3. Remove from heat and gradually whisk in milk. Return to heat; boil and thicken. Remove from heat and whisk in cheese until melted.
  4. Pour over veggies in casserole dish. Top with buttered bread cubes. Bake at 325F for 30 minutes.
