  • Bring to boil 2 1/4 cups water, add wheatberries, stir once, and cook for 45 minutes or until tender.
  • Dice vegetables.
  • Combine wheatberries, diced vegetables, oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  • Add diced gouda or sharp cheddar.
