  1. This is a great recipe for deer. Added a little hot shots to it but other than that it didnt need much else in my opinion. Thanks for posting, always looking for great venison recipes!

  2. This was good. But, DH found it necessary to add some spices and hot sauce and who knows what else when I wasn't looking. I seriously don't think it was necessary to add all that water. I added only about 4 cups, still to much in my book. I got to try it before DH started adding things it was good but not the best. We will make again but with our changes. Thanks for posting. I am the mom of 4 kids, a Fulltime Nurse, Fulltime Wife, and I love to cook and experiment with new recipies! I am always looking for new things to try. I like to hunt with my husband and our family eats alot of Venison. Luckily for me, ALL my kids like Venison. We also eat a lot of Seafood and Pasta. But, I still have that Southern Girl cooking in me! I sometimes revert back to my roots and fry things! My husband loves that BUT, I know it's not the best way to cook, so it's a treat when I do it. I welcome any new recipies.
