  • Melt all ingredients over a water bath.
  • Stir constantly, avoiding bubbles.
  • Cool to room temperature.
  • Pour over cooled cake from the center and let spread itself, run a spatula along the cake side to distribute the glaze.

  1. This is an excellent glaze. I reduced the recipe to a smaller amount and used it to top some creme puffs. I used semi-sweet chocolate and the flavor was not too sweet and just perfect.
