  1. This is such a light tasting salad. So easy to make and so delicious. The vidalia onion brings this salad together. Definitely will make again.

  2. Great salad! Loved the dressing with the basil. I cut the recipe in half for the two of us and used a sweet onion (didn't have vidalia). Will make again. Thanks.

  3. This was super yummy even though My husband ate the cheese, so mine didn't have any. I also used tomatoes from the garden and normal onion, as that's what I had, and it still tasted good. If i had been thinking I would've cut the tomatoes into wedge slices or bigger bite size pieces... because it said chopped, I cut the tomatoes into smaller pieces. Also I imagine that goat cheese would do very well in this salad. after i cut the tomatoes I noticed lots of juice as mine were seedy, so I strained them before adding in the liquids.

  4. An easy tasty salad that is just right for Summer - All the ingredients came from the garden except the cheese - The lite mozzarella was just right in combination with the other stronger flavors Thanks for a lovely side sald with my burger

  5. A wonderful classic that I tweaked according to cheese availibilty, I used feta! I loved the proportions of oil to vinegar and also the amount of basil as well. I used local French onions and enjoyed this with my lunch out on the sunny terrace. I decided to layer it and not mix it - the flavours were STLL amazing though! Made for Summer Salads in the Photos Forum. Merci, FT:-)
