  1. Yum, I'm drinking one right now! Water or regular milk needs to be added to help the blending along. I was out of milk, so I added a bit of water along with the ice before adding the avocado and condensed milk. I think I went a little overboard with the condensed milk though, hehe. Next time I will put more ice in to give it more of a smoothie consistency rather than a creamy shake.

  2. What a great shake! If you like avocados, you'll love the fresh flavor of this recipe. However, in order to make it more blender friendly, I added about a 1/4 c of 2% milk (otherwise nothing would move, let alone, blend). I also left out the sugar, otherwise it would be too sweet.

  3. I love avocado shake! It is my favorite drink whenever I go to the bubble tea shops! I made it at home, and added vanilla ice cream to make it more creamy!

  4. I did not have condensed milk on hand so I substituted evaporated milk and three tablespoons of sugar. It was PERFECT! Very thick and rich, so I only had a small glass and froze the rest for later. Great recipe.

I'm a 28 years old wife who lives in the Bay Area with my hubby. I do not work. In my spare time I like to sample recipes from recipezaar. I also enjoy baking some sweets once in a while but normally my hubby and I can't finish everything I bake. We hope to have children soon so that there will be people around the house to eat everything I cook. I like to cook Chinese or Asian food as I am Chinese and I find it's easier for me to find the needed ingredients from home without buying a lot of groceries to prepare for one dish. My passion is eating. Sounds odd? hehehe....my friends also share the same passion. My friend was criticized for considering eating as her passsion. She was told that eating is not considered a passion, it's considered a necessity and it's something you just have to do. What do you think? We eat out whenever we feel bored of our own cooking. That's why I gained weight over the past year. I go to the gym 3 times a week(sometimes not even twice a week).
