Vincent Van Gogh Cocktail
"Found this in Australian Bartender magazine.
A cocktail that uses Absinthe as the main ingredient.
It also has cranberry & lemon juice, so if you're not a fan of sour stuff this may not be for you. I gave it a go & was pretty happy with the results :)"

- 20 ml absinthe
- 10 ml Chambord raspberry liquor
- 5 ml lemon juice
- 15 ml cranberry juice
directions

- Strain into a LARGE shot glass.

I made this as a cocktail (not a shot) using the same proportions. I also used pure cranberry juice, which is very tart (not cranberry juice cocktail). I like it, but it's definitely not for everyone. If you're into complex flavors and don't like your drinks too sweet, this is worth a try.

This shot was harsh and after the raspberry taste subsides there was an overwhelming sour burning that really left a bad taste in the mouth. So sorry... but we did not like this one. Maybe leaving the lemon out may help and adding some triple sec or something sugary.

My fiance & I have lived in Melbourne all our lives and we love it, it's so diverse & exciting.
