- 1 medium onion
- 1⁄4 cup fresh parsley
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1⁄2 lb ground pork
- 1⁄2 cup wheat germ
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 egg
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1⁄2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1⁄4 cup chili sauce
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place meat in large mixing bowl.
- Mince onion and parsley and add to meat.
- Add rest of ingredients and mix together thoroughly.
- Place mixture in oblong baking dish and shape into loaf.
- Cover loaf with additional chili sauce.
- Bake meatloaf in oven for 1 hours.
