  • Beat egg white until stiff.
  • Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together water and powdered milk.
  • Add egg yolk.
  • Add flour and baking soda.
  • Fold in egg whites.
  • Bake according to waffle iron directions.

  1. Stiff egg whites did not make this recipe light and fluffy. It was heavy and bland and tasted more like tough wheat biscuits. I used a good whole wheat pastry flour, but clearly a few ingredients were missing to make it tasty. Still on a quest for a good waffle recipe.
