  1. I got enough batter to do 16 french toasts. So next time I'll do half the recipe with 8 slices of bread. I omitted the nutmeg and used more cinnamon. Thanks Pixies :) Made for I recommend tag game

  2. This was amazing! Very easy to make and we loved it! I followed the directions and ended up with a wonderful breakfast. Thank you for a great recipe.

  3. DH and I LOVED this recipe. It was fun, easy, and tasted awesome. I've found I really enjoy those WS recipes and this is no exception. I cut the eggs & milk in half (only 2 of us) but left the spices all the same as I wanted to really be able to taste them since I used recipe#366749 that I had left over and cut into 1" slices. I used a Belgium Waffle Iron so figured I needed them thick. Then served with butter, syrup AND powdered sugar - and fresh hot coffee YUMMY. Wish I could give more stars - can't wait to make this again for my DGSs.

  4. This was a fun way to make french toast, but the result was more of a hybrid french toast/waffle, which is honestly what one would expect given the name of the dish! I'm not sure that I'll make it again, but it was fun. Thanks!

  5. Wow, was this good. We loved it. Perfect french toast but crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside like waffles. Served with both a little icing sugar, tab of butter and a little maple syrup for a wonderful breakfast. Thanks for sharing this lovely recipe. made For Alphabet Tag .

I am 29 and a stay at home mom to 3 kids, 2 little girls with a sweet little boy sandwiched in between. I love to decorate cakes and make other sweets. I also love cooking healthy fresh whole food dishes, I have to balance out the sweets somehow. On Saturday evenings we entertain friends and try new recipes out and have a big meal together and enjoy the joy that comes around when good food and good company combine! I watch a little boy during the week and my husband works with his father in the family HVAC business. We love to tackle home projects and my husband usually gets the pay off with a really yummy meal. I write and do a little bit of artwork but most of it is translated into cakes now. We love to spend time outside and manage to have a small garden in the backyard that we can eat out of during the summer. I think it would be awesome to have some chickens for eggs and as pets but the neighborhood doesn't allow it so we will have to wait till we move back into the woods again.
