This was delightful. I made this for husband and I to take for our lunch. Nice and crunchy. We really enjoyed the nutmeg-cinnamon flavor. I did as you suggested and made sandwiches with toasted raisin bread. Yummy and I got lots of inquiries from co-workers. I just printed up copies of your recipe and spread the good word. Thanks Inez.

YUMMMMM!Instead of using turkey, I used leftover meat from a a roast chicken that we had yesterday for this recipe. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly (including serving it between slices of toasted raisin bread). It was PERFECTION! It was crunchy and delicious, and the cinnamon and nutmeg flavors really added something special. I can't wait to make it again!Thank you so much for sharing!

This is my second year making this recipe with the leftover TGiving turkey and I looked forward to eating this the next day almost as much as the TGiving meal itself! It is really perfect as written. The yogurt lightens it up nicely and the little bit of spice at the end gives it a tasty difference. Thanks, MizzNezz! This is now one of my favorite recipes!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!!
I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch.
We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
