  1. Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast in a large bowl and blend well.
  2. Heat beer and oil together in a small sauce pan until warmed (110° F.).
  3. Add to flour mixture.
  4. Mix in eggs and blend at low speed until moistened, then beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
  5. By hand, stir in walnuts and enough of the remaining flour to make a stiff batter.
  6. Spoon into two well-greased 8"x4" loaf pans.
  7. Cover loosely with greased plastic wrap.
  8. Let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 30-40 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  10. Bake 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Remove from pans immediately and cool on wire racks.
