Walnut Blondie With Maple Butter Sauce

  • Blondie:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add chopped nuts.
  • Mix well and set aside.
  • Combine brown sugar, and melted butter.
  • Mix well.
  • Add eggs and vanilla.
  • Mix well.
  • Add the flour mixture slowly mixing well.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Spread into a 13" x 9" pan.
  • Bake 20-25 minutes or until done.
  • Sauce:

  • Combine melted butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup.
  • Stir well.
  • Stir in the walnuts.
  • Warm in microwave, if desired.
  • Pour over Blondie to serve.
