- 1⁄2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 egg, large
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄3 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1⁄2 cup walnuts, chopped coarsely
directions
- Preheat oven to 390 degrees (350 degrees fan assisted).
- Combine softened butter, sugars and egg.
- Stir in flour, salt, vanilla extract, baking soda, chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Place 1/2 inch balls onto greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.
- Bake for about 15 minutes.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack and enjoy!
