- CRUST: Combine flour, 1/4 cup sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Turn into a 10 or 11-inch pie or flan pan. Spread the mixture evenly over pan then press up against sides and firmly over bottom. Cover the edges loosely with a piece of foil.
- Bake at 350F.for 12 minutes. Remove from heat and cool while preparing filling.
- FILLING: Beat three eggs until thick and foamy. Then beat in 3/4 cup sugar, a little at a time, whisking vigorously until sugar disappears. Finally stir in walnuts.
- Pour the filling in the partly baked crust. Bake st 350F for 25 minutes.
- Completely cool before serving.
- Serves 8-10.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
