  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • To make the pie, in a large mixing bowl combine the flour, sugar and baking powder.
  • Stir in the milk, melted butter, cranberries and walnuts.
  • Mix well and transfer to 2 ungreased 9 inch pie pans.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • To make the sauce, in a small sauce pan combine the sugar, butter and evaporated milk.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer for about 3 minutes, until sugar dissolves.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  • Pour the sauce over the 2 pies and serve hot.
