Ingredients Nutrition

  • 14 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 4 ounces feta cheese, drained, broken into chunks
  • 1 cup roasted red pepper, drained
  • 1 garlic clove, cut in half
  • pepper
  • toasted pita bread, wedges
  • cucumber (sliced lengthwise, or wedges)


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F Butter a 2-4 cup baking dish or two large ramekins.
  2. In a food processor, (or in a tall cup using an immersion blender) purée bread crumbs, Feta cheese, roasted red pepper and garlic until smooth; season to taste with pepper.
  3. Spread into prepared baking dish. Bake for about 20 minutes or until warm and just starting to turn golden around the edges. Serve with toasted pita wedges and cucumber slices for spreading.
