  1. This was such a wonderful tea recipe that I'll definitely make again. and I wouldn't change a single thing. I used an Earl Grey tea, and I think that was a good choice. This tea recipe has a great combination of flavors that meld together nicely. It's a nice tea drink to consider for the holidays! Thank you for sharing your recipe, MarylandMomof3. Made for New Kids On The Block tag game.

  2. I have made this tea wassail for years. My girls love it. The recipe book it came from was so old, it started to fall apart and the page was lost. One of my daughters asked for recipe this year, I could remember the ingredients, but not the ratio. I was so delighted when I found the recipe on line. Think I will start making it again. It can be spiked with vodka, which doesn't change the original taste too much. Or you can spike with Wiskey. Rum is too sweet and Gin pulls the tartness away.

  3. Great "warmer-upper" for fall and winter. I cut the amount of sugar in half and it was just sweet enough for us. I used an English Breakfast tea. Didn't have any candy canes this time of year, but will try that garnish at Christmas time. Made for Fall 2012 PAC game.
