  1. This was very nice and very refreshing. My kids LOVED it but I found it a bit too sweet and would probably add only one tablespoon of sugar next time. A much healthier alternative to cordial or long-life packaged fruit juice.

  2. Yummy! I used less water and sugar and more lime in mine. Very fresh tasting!

  3. A HUGE success! To tell the truth, I didn't expect such a wonderful fruity depth of flavor. It is astonishingly refreshing. Perhaps just a little sweet for my taste. Next time I will reduce the sugar a bit and increase the lime juice. It has my highest recommendation! The layering effect after chilling for several hours was interesting too.

  4. Fantastic recipe! Very light and refreshing. I pureed all of the watermelon, left out the seeds because it was a seedless watermelon and used 1/8 of a cup less sugar. Perfect! Thanks for posting the recipe.

  5. So glad I found this recipe...I tried the watermelon flavor at the LA Zoo-ever since then I have craved juice that is so tasty and refreshing. Your recipe is just like I remember, and now my whole family can enjoy it, I always make a gallon at a time and its goes fast! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I moved out here many, many years ago from Ottawa, Canada - so I am blessed in having two wonderful heritages! I suffer from compulsive obsessive behaviour with regard to food and my psychiatrist thought it would be a good idea to find a 'society' where many have the same problem and try to find a cure. So far, I've copied a couple of thousand recipes from this site and my psychiatrist has thrown the towel in and refuses to answer the phone when I call. What did I do wrong? Got 3 kids that keep me on the go - 10 and under at this point (2008) - I may not get round to updating this for a few years, so you'll have to do your own maths. I teach English full-time and Greek Cookery part-time. I would like to make the cooking part of it full-time and the English Grammar part of it part-time. That's all for now.
