  1. Ace! Fabulous! Will enjoy for Brekkie. I didn't use the bread improver and did not need it. I did run short of bread flour so I used hazelnut flour. Good eats. Made for ZWT #8 for the Lively Lemon Lovelies. Cheers!<br/>Good onya.

  2. This is fabulous! Did the procedure like fairy nuff. I got overexcited with my Aussie goodies, that I just had to try them! When I made this, near the end stage, I divided it into two. The first one was as is. Then for the 2nd, I mixed a tspful of milo chocolate powdered drink , 1/2 lemon myrtle (ground), 1/4 mountain pepperleaf (ground)-this smells like pepper so I didn't add much, 2 tbsp water and an extra tbsp flour and mixed it. Then I incorporated it with the half loaf mixture then made small buns out of it. Boy, the one with additional ingredients smells a tad bit like chocolate after it was done without tasting like chocolate. After baking it in the oven, both had a crusty outside, but inside's soft. They're also nice to look at when they're sliced- few scattered dots of wattleseeds. It's also nutty. Tastewise, the 1st is simpler, subtler while the 2nd was upped a bit coz of the added aroma. But they're pretty much the same tastewise. We've nearly finished it all and it's still hard to recognize the difference except for the smell, and since the first wasn't formed into buns, it was softer too. I tried it with vegemite..ewww.. lol It was nice with honey but we preferred it with Recipe #373737 and Spanish chorizo. Gosh- great accompaniment! DH got the huge bread while I was left with the buns. We're solved for dinner! Ace, mate! Thanks! Made for ZWT5/Family Picks. Zaar Chow Hounds.

  4. Wow Lori - I've been looking for a wattle-seed recipe ever since Honni sent me a pack of native Australian spices. I don't have a bread maker so I just used my normal breadmaking steps, in my bench mixer - though I did soak the wattle seed first. I soaked the wattle seed in 40ml boiling water. I added the salt, yeast, sugar to 250ml warm water, left for ten minutes to froth. Added the frothed mix to the flour, wattle seed mix, macadamia oil and chopped macadamias. After mixing I let the dough rise for 50 minutes or so...punched it down then shaped into smallish rolls. They taste fabulous ( when put in hot water the smell resembles coffee)....and the dough mix is really light. These were perfect and I'll certainly make them again....sorry the review is like a novel :)
