- 1⁄2 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- melted butter
directions
- Make a regular sized batch of your favourite sweet dough.
- Divide it into two.
- Roll each half out to a 12" by 9" rectangle.
- Brush each rectangle with melted butter.
- sprinkle half of the sugar and orange zest mixture on each rectangle, making sure you get it right to the ends.
- Fold the dough into thirds.
- slice into 1" slices.
- twist each slice and then make it into a ring shape by pinching the ends together.
- Place on greased baking sheet in warmth until risen 2x.
- Bake in 375 degree oven for 20 minutes.
