"My mom made this dessert for Thanksgiving the first year I was a Weight Watcher and it went better then the pecan or pumpking pies. 3 points per serving. Sorry, this recipe isn't core."

  2. what size of sugar free jello is it?

  3. I don’t understand the amount of sugar free lime gelatin called for? I have a 3 ounce box or a 6 ounce box.

  5. What is the exact amount of gelatin you supposed to use is it a 3 ounce box or a 6 ounce box or is it 1/16 of an ounce. It’s very confusing

  1. A huge favourite at our house, using other flavours of jello as well. I make it without the crust, and sometimes add some co-ordinating pieces of fresh fruit (raspberries with raspberry jello, etc.) This is such a satisfying dessert for so few calores.

  2. I've used this recipe for many years with great success. My friends and family especially like it using orange gelatin & yogurt... it tastes like a creansicle! But I usually make it without the pie crust and serve it as "mousse" in small glass dishes or a large crystal bowl (double thr recipe) topped with additional whipped topping - and using fat free and/or sugar free whipped topping, it's only 1 point.

  3. Great dessert (even if you aren't on Weight Watchers). I served this to company and it was a hit. It was nice having a lighter dessert after our meal. Instead of making a pie I put the filling into parfait glasses, topped with a few graham cracker crumbs and served it ... we didn't miss the pie at all. I'll be experimenting with other flavors ... orange, lemon ... the possibilities are endless!!!

  4. Light & delicious & look forward to to changing it around with different Jello/yogurt. If anyone else has difficulty figuring out the 1/16ounce jello as I did it works with 0.3oz (8.5g). i had a box of lime jello that is 3oz and had to figure out the proper weight for the jello which again is 0.3oz(8.5g) and it worked just fine.

  5. Yummy! Made this with sugar free lime jello, sf cool whip and dannons light & fit key lime pie yogurt! I just crumbled some graham crackers and sprinkled them on top before serving. Tasty treat guiltfree sensation!!

Tweaks

  1. no toping?

  2. This recipe says it has 42.6 calories per serving. That is impossible since the graham cracker crust is 100 calories per serving. I added up the ingredients and this comes out to 173.5 calories per serving, not 42.6. Very disappointed in the false advertising. The flavor is good, but is better if you replace 1/8 cup of boiling water with lime juice.

RECIPE SUBMITTED BY

I have always enjoyed cooking and looking for recipes. I have to admit though, until I joined Weight Watchers four years ago I never did much cooking. Since then it has became vital to do my own cooking and I find I am really good at it. I really enjoy trying new ingredients like Quinoa, Millet, Porktenderloin, hoisin sauce, beans, Textured Vegetable Protein among many other new ingredients. My family has started thinking I am a little weird with all the unusual ingredients I have in my pantry. My passions are my 3 nephews, Matthew, Lucas and Charles and my 8 parrots, Guy, Pete, Toby, Daisy, Zeke, Ernie, Max and Lu. They keep me positive when life takes a nose dive.
