ingredients
- 2 tablespoons softened butter
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 1⁄2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg white
- 3⁄4 cup flour
- 1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 cup chocolate chips
directions
- Preheat oven to 375 and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In medium bowl, cream butter, oil and brown sugar. Add vanilla, salt and egg white and mix thoroughly. In separate bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and chocolate chips. Use wooden spoon to add flour mixture to cream mixture.
- Drop rounded 1/2tsp measurers of dough onto cookie sheet. Bake 4 - 6 minutes or until done to your liking.

I'm trying to eat better and eat heart healthy foods. I go some very! Dark chocolate that is supposed to be beneficial for your heart. Well its darker than I can eat by it self so I used this recipe and shredded up the dark dark chocolate and used my mini muffin tin and made mini dark dark chocolate chunk muffins. Thank you for this recipe it made the dark chocolate
