  • Combine potatoes with onion, salt and milk, simmer, covered, for 45 minutes, or until tender.
  • Sprinkle cheese, pepper and crumbs over top. Continue cooking, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Reduce to "warm" for serving. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

  1. We liked these potatoes and they are very easy to make in the electric skillet. I used russet potatoes and was out of minced onion so I used onion powder and skim milk. After 45 minutes my potatoes werent browning so I turned the skillet up to 300 for a few minutes. Added the cheese and italian breadcrumbs but forgot to add the parsley. Simmered for an additional 20 minutes and they were perfect. Served Andy Wold's Recipe #71459 with the potatoes and had a very nice meal.
