What Have You Done, Italian Wedges

"I asked my hubby (who will remain nameless, but his name is Mark) to Make me some wedges for lunch. His asked how do I do that? I told him cut the spuds into wedges dip in melted butter and sprinkle with a little Italian seasoning. How could one get that WRONG??? Well, he rolled the wedges in all my Italian seasoning, and while I found then a little too hot and spicy for my liking, someone out there who like things on the hotter side will probably think they are great."

  1. This was soooooooo easy and the finished product was wonderful! I used 4 potatoes (for 4 people), 1/4 cup melted butter and chose to sprinkle the Italian seasoning vs. rolling. I roasted them in a 400 degree oven for about 30 minutes, flipping them once. Absolutely delish.

  2. Yum. A perfect basic recipe to build on. At first I found them lacking something but then, as suggested by another reviewer, I added seasoning salt and immediately 5 star. Next time I will try adding some parmesan. Made for PAC Spring 2011.

  3. I make these all the time and my family really enjoys them.

  4. So easy and good too! I cut into little cubes, and roasted about 30 minutes, turning once. Thanks! Made for Australian Swap Aug. 2010.

  5. Such a simple little trick to m ake a world of difference in the potaote wedges! Wonderful flavor. I also cut down the butter a smidge and added to the table a shaker of cayenne pepper, parm cheese, and a vinegar for dousing the wedges into. YUMMMMMMY. Thank you teamate.<br/>Made for Aus/NZ Swap 43

Tweaks

  1. We did like them! but there were no directions for amounts of herbs or the temps for the oven. I used Olive oil infused with garlic instead of butter and just kept adding the herbs until it looked right. I used my combination micro, and put it on 190 c and low microwave for 20 minutes i will use this recpe again - thanks for posting
