- 4 turnips, cooked and mashed
- 2 cups soft bread cubes
- 1⁄2 cup butter, melted
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground pepper
directions
- Mash turnip.
- Beat in eggs.
- Add butter, baking powder, salt, pepper, and sugar. put in a 6 cup casserole.
- Top with bread crumbs and pieces of butter.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake at 375 for 1 hour.
- If you freeze this thaw it before baking.
