White Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies

"This is a yummy cookie recipe! The pecans and white chocolate are so nice together! A nice change from regular chocolate chip cookies. Cooking time actually depends on your oven size...each cookie sheet takes 12 minutes."

  1. Wonderful cookies!! I scaled this back, making 1/4 of the recipe and it still made close to 3 dozen cookies. Loved the flavor combination of the white chocolate and pecans, compared to the normal chocolate chip cookies. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

  2. So yummy! I didn't need nearly this many cookies though so I had the site adjust for only 2.5 dozen cookies. This gave me a "1 egg" version. The only problem I had was the dough just had no stick to it so I drizzled just a bit of milk into the mixer till it looked like dough (couldn't have been more than a couple of teaspoons) and VOILA! Awesome "not chocolate" chip cookies for my mother who hates chocolate chips! :) Thanks!

  3. Wow this is a really good cookie! I doubled it as I am making for a party. Made for PAC Spring 2012....glad I picked this one to do!

  4. These are wonderful cookies! My family loved them. They turned out moist and delicious. Love them with the pecans! Thanks for sharing.

  5. Great cookies, breezermom! I reduced the recipe by half, and still got 40 cookies, tho mine may have been a bit small. When reducing this by half, it recommends 1 and 1/2 egg, so I used 1. It may have needed 2, as a few of the cookies were a bit crumbly, but that was totally my fault. And it did not affect the taste at all! They are scrumptious and going in my keeper file! :-) Thanks so much for sharing!

Tweaks

  1. If I could give it 4 1/2 stars I would. I subbed a bit of flax seed meal for some of the flour but other than that made it exactly as written. It was an absolutely huge batch of cookies. After about 1/2 of the flour I had to mix it by hand because my hand mixer wouldn't do it. I have a Kitchenaid but when we moved I misplaced the paddle. :-( When we had cooked a couple dozen I added a bit more flour because we wanted taller cookies. I'd like to try them again with half chocolate/ half vanilla chips.
