  • 18 14 ounces white cake mix
  • 1 14 cups water
  • 3 egg whites
  • 13 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 ounces white baking chocolate, melted
  • FILLING
  • 34 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • FROSTING
  • 16 ounces vanilla frosting
  • 3 ounces white baking chocolate, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, egg whites, oil, and vanilla.
  2. Beat on low for 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in white chocolate. Pour into a greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
  4. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  5. Cool for 5 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, in a microwave or heavy saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and butter and stir until smooth.
  7. Carefully spread over warm cake. Cool completely.
  8. In a mixing bowl, beat frosting. Stir in white chocolate and vanilla. Fold in whipped topping and frost cake. Store in the refrigerator.
